Heather Weidenbach has been serving the City of Windcrest since February 14, 2000. Heather first started as the Windcrest Volunteer Fire Department Secretary, where she obtained her certification as an Emergency Care Attendant and served as Picnic Chairperson for more than 5 years. In November 2005, Heather transferred from the Fire Department to the Administration office where she served as the Permits Clerk/Civic Center Manager until she was appointed Acting City Secretary in April 2010. In June 2010 during a regular City Council meeting with her husband and youngest son in attendance, Heather was appointed City Secretary and served as the City Secretary till November 2012; when she stepped down as City Secretary to spend more time with her husband, son and their new daughter. Heather is currently serving the city as the Assistant City Secretary, Post Office Supervisor and oversees all the permits that come through the city. Heather was born and raised in San Antonio, TX until she was 16, when her family moved to Holtville, CA. Heather attended her junior and senior year Holtville High School and graduated in 1992. Heather is married with 3 amazing children. Heather enjoys being a soccer mom, shopping, traveling, photography and going to the beach.
