|The Support Services Division is comprised of a Support Services Director, a Communications Section Manager, Records Section Manager, and Communications Officers. This division is responsible for answering and disseminating calls for service in non-emergency and emergency situations, directing, monitoring and supporting all Operations and Special Operations Division units, maintain records database entry and accuracy, TCIC/NCIC record entry and validation, maintain DPS training requirements for all police personnel, assist the City Secretary's Office in processing open records requests, complete and submit all State required reports, assist in the records retention program, retrieve data and research activities in order to prepare the required monthly Uniform Crime Report.
